I AM BIG BIRD

I am the Executive Producer of the feature length documentary I AM BIG BIRD.  The film chronicles the life of legendary puppeteer Carol Spinney.  Spinney has brought to life two of Jim Henson's most famous characters, Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch.  Spinney has played both characters since Sesame Street's first season and continues till this day at the age of 81.  

We started production on this film in 2009 and had the incredible opportunity to get to know Caroll and his amazing wife, Deb over the past five years.  We premiered the film at HotDOCS in Toronto in 2014 and toured the country playing at numerous film festivals throughout the year.  Tribeca Films recently acquired the film and released the film theatrically.  Currently the film is available on Amazon Prime.
